Christmas Leftovers Broth…

Here’s a cheeky little recipe to help you make use of all those leftovers after Christmas and create a delicious and healthy broth. This will allow you to make use of any left over meat, veg and also the bones of your meat.

Christmas Broth

For this example I used some roast chicken breast and the bones from the roast chicken. You can use any bones that you have left over after Christmas whether it’s Turkey, Lamb or Beef.

Recipe.

For the Broth:

  • 2 Carrots
  • 2 Sticks of Celery
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 Leeks
  • 1 Petal from a Star Anise
  • Half a bunch of Thyme
  • Half a bunch of Rosemary
  • Roasted bones, chopped into fist size pieces.
