Pumpkin soup and Bread

Excuse my ignorance for thinking it was near impossible to make bread without a bread maker but as it turns out it was quite easy and a lot of fun! For the bread:
Mix 3 1/3 cups of plain white bread
1 sachet (2 teaspoons) active yeast
And some salt in a large bowl
Make a well in the centre and add 1 1/2 cups water. Stir ingredients together then use hands to really bond it together. On a slightly floured board knead the dough for about 8-10 mins. When you press your finger on it and it springs back it’s kneaded enough. Lightly grease a large bowl and the dough so as to keep it from drying out and put the dough (shaped into a ball) in the bowl, cover with wrap and put in a warm place (ideally 30 degrees) I just left mine on the window…
