Ribs and Rumps Rip Off

On another overnight in Brisbane, Australia I decided to check out a restaurant the locals say is great. It’s called Ribs and Rumps (instant excitement) and is located in Fortitude Valley, next to the city. Every item on the menu is appealing, but for me there was only one choice. The full rack of pork ribs. They do also offer beef and lamb ribs.

When the dish came to the table, I liked the look of the ribs. They were hot and glistening with the bbq basting sauce. The overall look of the dish was let down by the sad lump of baby spuds. Lets get to the ribs. In all honesty, the only word to describe them is disappointing. The meat was chewy and dry. It definitely needed more sauce. The sauce was flavoursome but as I said, there needed to be more……
